Death of the Night - Halloween Tag

Welcome back

after the summer break with our two-months long "Summer special" challenge,

dear creative steampunk and industrial style friends!

Time to launch the September challenge, isn't it?

Our actual challenge, which is - as usual - an

I was inspired to create a Halloween inspired mixed media tag.

I worked with two silicone moulds (Gothic Window, Brick), some amazing MDF shapes for an 3D shelf (Calico Craft Parts), some Tim Holtz cutting dies 'Crazy Bat'; Garden Greens;  Frightful things and some Halloween parts (Ideaology'.

some tips how you can create a tag with 3D effect

create the background with out casts from silicone moulds

 (air dry modelling clay)

create a shelf under the window with MDF shapes (Calico Craft Parts)

add some Mini Artstones or Texture sand and use liquid spray paint (here Distress ink)

handmade candles

We hope to see you play along with us again this month,

challenge is - as always - open until the end of the month!

Happy crafting!

Chill Out

 Hello creative friends!

I love to give layouts a theme and interpret them freely, that's why I hardly ever worked with sketches. But I am also a person who likes to try everything and so I got inspired by the sketch at MTW.

In Corona times it is not always possible and useful to travel, but relaxation, taking time for yourself is more important than ever. When I sit over my creative projects, I sink into other worlds, which sometimes don't even want to leave :-).

Vintage feelings in Denim blue with a touch of Steampunk

and always on the search for the extraordinary,

with new sprouting ideas

I think this describes my creative soul.

Steampunk Junk Journal Part 1

Hello!

Today one of my new favourite works with an awesome Kit for a
Junk Journal in industrial Steampunk style.

This is one of the new Junk Journal Kits from Scrap FX….  Steampunk, you can find in this Kit various scrapbook materials for instance a map page, several laser cut pages, an envelope for the cover or an acetate sheet.
What is on show gives free rein to your imagination,
is interesting and inspiring at the same time

I used a lot of various products - silhouettes, stencils, stamps and chipboards
and diverse techniques,
really a unique and creative adventure with a lot of fun and you will always have the opportunity to chance or add your own pages. I have added some selfmade aged white and old book pages.

Junk Journal - Where is the SUN ??

Hello!

Best friends forever

Hi friends!

I want to share a mixed media layout in grunge style.
That's one of my favourite colour combination's.

Dusty Attic February Moodboard
I was inspired from this amazing colour scheme and the masculine industrial charakter in connection with denim
 13@rts #63 Friends forever
I used one of my favourites from 13arts the Rainbow color Brown, love this powder because you will have so many opportunities to use this on a vintage layout

More than words Forever and Heart
Child Friendships are something very special and can last a lifetime, I use hearts as wooden embellishments and above the photo as frame

Happy crafting!
