Little christmas lantern

Hello everyone!

Have you seen the latest 3D lantern kits at Calico Craft Parts???

Amazing,  also as a gift idea to assemble yourself.

You can glue them together quickly with wood glue.

I chose the option  -Engraved - with some filgree snowflakes.

Extra Tip!

There is a small hole in the centre of the lantern

to fit the tip of an electric tea light,

the plastic sleeve acts as a small base, great!

I decorated the lantern with some slightly glittering snow effects,

after all, we're all dreaming of white christmas, right? 😀

Perspex windows were sprayed with ice crystal spray,

the ice flower effect on the panes creates a magical atmosphere.

I also glued the little boy with the sledge in the middle of the lantern

(the shape was cut in two and glued offset).

The lighting creates interesting shadow effects.

 Hello everyone!

December has started, and everyone is searching for the ideal present again.

But there are more significant things, especially during this time of year.

This is the focus of my project today.

I created a canvas with a modified wish list that serves

as a reminder of the special moments of the Christmas season.

Xmas Memory Frame - Guestdesign Craft O' Clock

Hello everyone!

Today a new christmas gift inspiration,

I created a memory frame for things to be remembered at christmas time.

Base was a simply plastic picture frame. I used the Warm and Peaceful collection,

several cut out motifs, background paper and also some parts from the Junk Journal.

They were perfect to create two bags,  you can put notes, photos, recipes there.

Mixed Media Star - Xmas Home decor

   Hello everyone!

I was inspired to create an amazing christmas gift idea and

used as base a star mixed media board from Calico Craft Parts.

You can find this pieces in several sizes for big and small handmade gift projects.

I want a project in monochrome style with less color, but a lot of texture.

I worked with white gesso and different textures and structures for the background. In the center is an awesome snow globe framed by a wreath of snowflakes, only two magical shapes from the latest christmas collection.

Have you seen yet?

MDF shapes were supplemented with cutting dies,

dried natural materials, a paper rose and ribbon.

Home decor - Magical Winter Times with Dusty Attic

Welcome everyone!

It's wintertime here,  first snowflakes have fallen, it's frosty cold,
the best time for some cozy hours in the warm house.

Christmas is just around the corner and I was inspired to make a new gift,
it should be dreamy, magical and like a fairy tale.

I used this beautiful Big Moon as base,
for more stability I glued it onto thick cardboard, bottom was made from
the leftovers of the Big moon.
All chipboards were first primed with white gesso,
either artificial snow, glittering texture sand or small white micro beads
were sprinkled into the still wet paint.

Christmas Memories Album with 13arts

Welcome everyone!

I decided a long time ago to create a christmas mini album
in vintage style.

Combined different pages from 4 different 13arts paper collections ( 6 x 6'')
In the latest Memory Lane collection you can find some amazing vintage motifs,
which are very suitable too christmas, like the rocking horse or the cuddly bears.

I have incorporated many pockets, envelopes and compartments
where you can place special memory photos, christmas messages
 or even traditional family recipes.
